WHAT a year we have had! Definately the best one of our lives! Full of JOY and a shadow of sorrow... but one we really appreciate and cherish!
As USUAL I am late getting out the Christmas cards so they should have read HAPPY NEW YEAR!
As for our eldest, Andrew Edward Roulst, he is full almost 9 years of life this year! He is attending Centralia Christian School and seems to really be doing well. He has many friends and the work in general is a cinch for that lil smarty! We love how his incredible mind works at inventing new things and ways to simplify life. Can't hardly wait to see his ideas come to life one day! He asks every other week if we can homeschool him so he can "skip a grade", lol. We are definately considering it! We love him dearly and have learned so much about his little self this year. He was diagnosed in October with Aspergers, tourettes and a sensory disorder. Though his symptoms are generally mild, we appreciate the diagnosis so we can better help him thrive in his little world. SO we are now embarking on a new and improved journey to help him reach every potential God has planned for him! We love this boy! He is a gift from God and we continue to be proud of his accomplishments.I should mention that Andrew has proven to be the BEST big brother to baby Jack... Andrew is so sweet to watch as he tries teaching Jack how to say "AAAANNNNDDRREEEEW" and "BBBBAAAALLLLLLLL"! We definatley see the soft side of Andrew whenever his baby brother is the center of attention. I truely bieleve God had Jack picked special for Andrew... we needed him.
Now on to our sweet Adeline Berniece Roulst, whom is "Addie" to her million and two friends! She started Kindergarten at Centralia Christian School this year and LOVES it more than anything! She will refuse to stay home if she is sick, cuz she just CANNOT miss a single moment! There are only 8 children in her class and it has been a great year! She is learning to read already and always works so hard and dilligently to be perfect at every task in class. She is a great lil student and we are proud of her! She continues to turn heads with her giant blue balls for eyes, and I am pretty sure she will use that against us here soon! She will be turning 6 in just a matter of weeks and has THAT party all planned out already! We appreciate our thoughtful, caring, doting on her baby brother, little sweet daughter that she is. God knew I needed her for sure! She melts daddys heart and oneday her older brother will think of something nice to say about her too! LOL. Addie adores baby brother JackJack, even though she must have asked me a hundred times after he was born... "why did God give THEM (pointing to a mom with a baby dressed in PINK) a girl?". Sweet Adeline.
JACK WILLIAM ROULST is the very BEST lil guy! He has a sweet little nature about him and we can't quite figure out what we did so right to deserve him! LOVE him! He is already nearly ONE year old! I just dont like this baby growing up! He is healthy and happy and really REALLY loves his Daddy! The true test was when Darrell and I were gone all day until late and my Mom was watching the kids. When we went to pick them up Darrell and I stood in front of Jack holding out our arms to him and he TOTALLY chose DADDY!! I was actually bummed! lol but it is very sweet for Darrell to get to experience a baby wanting HIM all the time. ITs been FUN! We adore him!
He looks alot like Darrell did when he was a baby too we are told! Diana, Darrell's Mom nick named him Darrell Jr. BUT we call him JackJack! He adores his brother and sister so much! Addie carts his around all day long and he just goes with it! Andrew plays wrestling with him for hours! Its a fun world for this baby!
Well... nothing much to report for D and me! THe bee's are doing well! We did not pull honey this year to let the hives keep it for winter! Darrell split his hives so we are up to about 30 now! Hoping for a BIG honey pull this coming year! We have so many paople asking for some... we wont forget about you!
Darrell still works for the SFD, and I still work for FREE! lol. But I feel very blessed to get the job of stay at home MOM and I love it more than anything!
My life isn't so bad... I have 3 healthy kids, a hard working husband, a pleasant home in the country, good family, good friends, and good COFFEE!
Love you all so much!
